Gly Derm^®

Gly Derm® is a skin care program that uses glycolic acid to improve skin tone, as well as to smooth fine wrinkles and diminish skin discoloration and blemishes. It has been known for years that glycolic acid - an alpha-hydroxy acid naturally occurring in sugar cane - can improve skin color and texture. Glycolic acid penetrates the skin and loosens thickened surface layers that appear as dry, rough, scaling skin. As the uppermost layers are sloughed away, skin with a smoother texture and healthier appearance is revealed. Many people find plain glycolic acid, particularly at higher concentrations, to be very irritating when applied to the skin. Gly Derm® glycolic acid is esterified, a process that combines glycolic acid with fruit alcohols. This produces gentle esters that maintain their full strength but are much less irritating to skin.

AFA^™ Gels

Amino Fruit Acids™ (AFAs™) are a new generation of skin care products that have three times the antioxidant qualities of older technology AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids). AFAs also help the skin retain three times the moisture and can be safely used with all skin types. Greater moisture retention in the skin helps even further reduce the appearance of fine lines. exCel Cosmeceuticals™ produces a line of AFA Gels which - when used on a daily basis - will give skin a healthier, more youthful appearance, and dramatically reduce visible photopigmentation (age spots) and the appearance of visible fine lines.

Kinerase™

Kinerase™ is an anti-wrinkle product that - unlike many other anti-wrinkle products - is non-acidic and won't burn or irritate your skin. SOLBAR^® Sunscreen

SOLBAR® is a family of high sun protection factor (SPF) sunscreen formulations created for dermatologists and their patients by Person & Covey, Inc., the company that pioneered development of products to protect skin from the harmful effects of UVB and UVA radiation.
